As a practitioner of Internal Medicine, Dr. Robert J. Wolf strives to provide excellent medical care to his patients at his private practice, Medical Care Specialists, Ltd., in Skokie, Illinois. Dr. Wolf and his two nurse practitioners treat all aspects of internal medicine covering the teenage to senior years. Additional interests include sports and nutrition medicine, preventive and palliative care, and a variety of mood and alcohol issues. Dr. Wolf is Board-Certified in internal medicine and holds partnerships with The North Shore University Health Systems, a network of four hospitals on Chicago's North Shore, including Glenbrook, Skokie, Evanston, and Highland Park Hospitals.
From 1983 to 1987, Dr. Robert J. Wolf majored in psychology and biology at Loyola University in Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1987, he attended Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Illinois, receiving his Doctor of Medicine in 1991. Dr. Wolf completed his internal medicine residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, in 1994.
After gaining partnership with his first medical practice, Dr. Wolf expanded his capabilities by starting his own practice in 2000. Furthering his medical education, he attends national conferences and still serves in an academic position with Rush Medical College. He frequently teaches medical students and nurse practitioners in the office.
Dr. Wolf supports numerous animal rescue charities, including Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and PAWS. A fluent Hungarian speaker, he participates in a variety of sports such as cross-training, swimming, and triathlons in his free time.
